| Comments: | A really good marathon...big, but not too big (11 000 runners) and was very well organised at start and finish (by the Colosseum). The route went past most of the major sights, there were no really big hills although about a third was on cobbles (mostly smooth, but there were some uneven sections in the last 3 miles!) Temperature was a little warm, and although not the fastest course, I thought the overall experience was fantastic! | ||||||
