Spotted this race a while back, it is flat(ish), very well organised and worth considering next year if you are chasing a 10km PB. Very well organised and easy access from the M4 in Reading. Doug and I, set off for the 10.30am start time, hoping the temperature wouldn't climb any higher, and seeking shade. The English man coped better than the Irish man who needs cooler climates. I finally achieved the sub 40 I've wanted, Doug, will have to wait for a tad longer - he will get it, maybe try an event in the North Pole :-) |
