A hot sunny day in the capital of Tenerife.
Race started at 8.30am to avoid the hottest part of the day, which was kind
of the organisation.
Began by winding its way through the city centre past some glorious old
buildings then out along the coast past the harbour, which was an out and
back route for a total of 8 miles, this was in the full sun and not the most
interesting part of the race.
There was a great carnival atmosphere around start/finish area with bands
and dancers and DJs
All round a well organised event and my first overseas |
