| Comments: | This event is hosted by Raceways and takes place near Stratford-Upon-Avon. This two-lap course (slightly over 10K) around an airfield isn't renowned for its outstanding beauty however it does have the potential to be a fast course if you can avoid the potholes, negotiate the numerous hairpin bends and have no wind to contend with. Positives - Decent goody bag - Friendly atmosphere - Burger van Negatives - Not very scenic - 2 lap twisty course - Slight delay at the start with chip timing - Windy - Lost my runner details (hence no club in results) Having said that I was lucky enough to finish in one piece and 7th overall (5th Senior Male) with almost identical 5K/10K splits! |
