A rather chilly Silverstone this year, and pretty
overcast, but the forecast rain held off until later in
the afternoon. The Northamptonshire race circuit can
suffer from cross winds on the exposed course, but
thankfully that too wasn't too bad.
It's a real zigzag course - almost 1 lap of the F1
circuit, then cut in through the pits to run back and
forth the inner runway, over a footbridge to run all the
way around the outside before heading back onto the F1
circuit in reverse to retrace our steps to the finish
line. Good medal, bespoke t-shirt and a bumper goody bag
awaited us.
New members Chris Turnbull & Lennard Lee were among
several of us who got PBs!
