The highlights were the brilliant W60 team winning their
category and Niamh's delicious cakes.
We have re-calculated the W40-49 team as 7th out of 10
(query sent in).
Great that we had scoring men's teams in all categories:
M40-49 9/17
M50-59 5/20
M60-69 7/7
A good turnout on a chilly day. This was the "low-level"
course at Horspath mostly round big fields with a couple
of short, steep climbs and descents in the woods. No one
thinks the longer course was actually 10k as advertised - probably the usual 9k.
The 6k course was also slightly shorter at 5.8k. Flat with uneven ground, no hills unless you count the mound by the track, and a fairly muddy section through the woods at the bottom to add variety.
