The course looked innocuous enough on first inspection - mostly flat, around playing fields with one long, gradual climb on each lap. But the mud was unrelenting! Slippy, slimy, ankle-deep, struggle-to-keep-upright stuff all the way. Even the downhill bits were hard work! Unanimously, the toughest course we've run on. But we had a great day out, nonetheless. Thanks to Ian for organising, and sorry you couldn't join us. Our men were 23rd team (out of 52); unfortunately we didn't score a women's team. |
