Definitely a good course for a PB - deceptively flat. Well organised with ChampionChip timing - single loop course out from Stroud to the west. Finishing time send to my mobile phone by text!
PAUL: what does deceptively flat mean when it's at home? ROSS
ROSS: I've done it twice, and suspect it means that, given how hilly the whole area is, it's amazing how level most of the course is. This contentious issue clearly needs discussing over a pint on Thursday! -FRANCIS
ROSS/FRANCIS: Definitely fodder for discussion. Francis is almost right, but to me it means that there didn't seem to be many flat bits, but the bits that weren't flat, weren't very hilly. I think I need a drink. -PAUL |
