It certainly offers what the name promises - a few hills on the way. But these always add to the scenery. The worst ones are right at the start - uphill for the first mile - and then a long uphill slog from mile 7-9. But - there are downhill bits as well... And cheerful signs along the route (Mile 7: deep breath - long slog ahead; Mile 11: last hill, honest; Mile 13: come on - sprint now). Very supportive marshalls. Not many spectators, but the ones that there were were great. Overall - a very friendly, scenic race. Not a course for a good time, but definitely a race for a nice running evening out.
