The XC season arrived at its climax on a dry overcast afternoon 'up north'. A challenging course over largely dry rolling parkland attracted a small band from HRR to join the country's thousands of runners.
The women ran over 8k with Harriet flying the flag and Emily picking her event to make her XC debut. Mikey running his first National and Martin and John not running their first (!), all ran to form (over 12.5k) and were happy. We flew the club flag and look forward to more of the club experiencing this classic occasion next year. As we drove away the rain came down, perfect. |
