Very hot, and no drinking water provided ! So my time, even if almost 50 seconds down on last year, was acceptable and I managed to improve one place on last year from 8th to 7th. (Largely due to the absence of youngsters who have the World Youths and the European U-23's next week.) And for the first time they acknowledged that I was a member of a club in the results - not 'unattached' or just a blank ! Star of the show for Oxfordshire was of course Nathan Douglas winning the Triple Jump as you will almost certainly read in the Oxford Mail next week. |
