A good day at the office for veteran Headington men at Waddesdon. Kenny and Andy won their age categories and whilst the writer narrowly missed the V45 crown, he was part of a corporate team who won that trophy. This is a really nice summer evening 5k organized by Vale of Aylesbury AC; starting in the new car park at the bottom of the hill, the first 2k is a steady climb and then there is a lap of the ornamental gardens outside the Rothschild's front window up at the Manor itself and then the rest is a race back to the bottom. Great trophies and another mug to add to the collection! |
