Pembrey Country Park wes the venue for this XC .
The course was mostly flat and very fast with woods open
ground some sandy parts, four short but steep hills per lap
with three laps . It was a fantastic course used in the
Gwent XC league also as last year we raced thru a marquee.
But the weather was good so no one was really in it .
There was also a log jump which I took a fall on in the
third lap .
The race started and I was off taking it slightly easy for
the first lap and over taking on the second falling at the
logs in the third which took it out of me for a bit but
losing two places in the last 800mt , I gave this my all everything I had in the tank but it was great .
6th vet 50 and 57th overall mixing it up with the best in
Wales.
