Despite on/off drizzle and the dreaded hill a thoroughly enjoyable race. Low-key but friendly atmosphere with helpful marshalling and regular water stations makes this race one for the regular schedule. This year there was a live reggae band which helped the feel-good factor in the finish area during the downpour!
Never heard the band, must have packed up and gone home by the time I finished! (Graham)
