This is a great event once you get up the 1st Hill. The course is described as having a major hill between the 3/4 and 1 1/2 mile points where you wind your way up through the grounds of Wycombe Abbey approximately 225 feet. It is extremly easy to get to just 10 minutes off junction 4 of the M40 with start and finish on the Rye, a massive grass area with ample free parking, very hot showers, band and other attractions to entertain waiting spectators, They also have a 10k and fun run.
Well done to the small HRR contingent but especially Charlotte Harris fresh from running last nights hilly Hornton 6 she still managed to thrash me today at the Half Marathon. |
