Decided to enter on a whim, when I found I wasn't working, despite the rain and the fact that it was brutally hard, I ended up loving it. So many hills, but also some great downhill stretches through the woods, where you could really fly. Great performances by all the HRR crew, not a PB race, it was a new course and most people agree that it was about half a mile too long, however it was lots of fun, especially if you like a challenge and going off road. Also the best goody bags ever; I could barely carry all the free stuff that was thrown at me (except if you wanted a small t-shirt). - Tristan Clarke |
