| Comments: | A somewhat hilly race starting and finishing on the University of York campus and going through the city centre and past York Minister before heading out into the countryside, so it was quite scenic. A fairly large field with around 6500 runners, Lots of support in the city and the villages. The rain held off until just after I crossed the finish line, contrary to the much gloomier forecast, but then it was persistent. A well organised and enjoyable marathon that I might do again. | ||||||||||||||
